In some areas, there are significant commercial operations involved in its production and distribution. These businesses may range from small-scale local producers to larger companies with broader distribution networks. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in neera as a healthful alternative beverage, leading to increased commercialization and marketing efforts in some areas. However, comprehensive data on the overall size and revenue of the neera industry globally may be limited due to its diverse and decentralized nature.
While neera has been primarily consumed in certain regions of South Asia and Southeast Asia, there has been growing interest in its health benefits and potential as a beverage globally. This interest has led to some exploration of neera’s commercial potential beyond its traditional markets.
While neera has been primarily consumed in certain regions of South Asia and Southeast Asia, there has been growing interest in its health benefits and potential as a beverage globally. This interest has led to some exploration of neera’s commercial potential beyond its traditional markets.
However, the global market for neera is still relatively niche compared to other beverages. Factors such as limited awareness outside of its traditional regions, the perishable nature of fresh neera, and the challenges associated with scaling up production and distribution may constrain its widespread adoption on a global scale.
Overall, while there may be some potential for a global market for neera, its growth and expansion beyond its traditional regions may be gradual and influenced by factors such as consumer preferences, marketing efforts, and regulatory considerations.
